Meet Our Physicians

Dr. Terence Bertele
Dr. Bertele is the chief of Chesapeake and Washington Heart Care, P.C. A native of New Jersey, he graduated from New York University and trained in medicine at George Washington University Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Bertele has been a board-certified cardiologist since 1985 and has special interests in balloon angioplasty and permanent pacemaker surgery. He has a residence in Solomons Island, MD, and Washington, DC. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as board certified in Cardiology.

Dr. Orest Bartoszyk
Dr. Bartoszyk was born in Amsterdam, NY, and graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University. He studied medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and New Jersey Medical School. His post-doctorate training took place at University Hospital, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and the East Orange, N.J., Veteran's Administration Hospital. His cardiology special interests are the effects of stress on the heart and cardiovascular system; echocardiography; and cardiac pharmacology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as board certified in Cardiology.

Dr. Terrance A. Collins
Dr. Collins was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He has been a board-certified physician since 1998 and has special interests in nuclear stress testing, cardiac catheterization, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Collins has lived in Upper Marlboro since graduating from medical school. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as board certified in Cardiology.

Dr. Jeffrey Trabb
Dr. Jeffrey Trabb received his medical doctorate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Cardiology at Boston University Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Trabb's special interests are interventional cardiology, non-invasive cardiac iImaging and clinical/consultive cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and in the subspecialty of nuclear cardiology.


Dr. Conor F. Lundergan
Dr. Lundergan is an internationally respected authority on heart disease and has published numerous medical journal articles. He was a professor of cardiology at George Washington University Hospital and trained at Duke University. He joined our office in August 2004. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is board certified in Internal Medicine as well as board certified in Cardiology.
