Terence Bertele, M.D.
Dr. Bertele is the Medical Director of Chesapeake & Washington Heart Care.
He Graduated from New York University and trained in medicine at George Washington University Hospital and Georgetown University Hospital. Dr. Bertele has been a board certified cardiologist since 1985. He has special interests in pacemaker and AICD management and atrial fibrillation strategies. He has a residence in Solomons Island, MD and Washington, DC. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
Roquell E. Wyche, M.D.
Dr. Wyche is a native Washingtonian. She received her M.D. from George Washington University, and trained in Internal Medicine
at the Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Wyche completed
a Cardiology Fellowship at Howard University Hospital and then did advanced training in cardiovascular imaging at the Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Wyche is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiologists and served in
a leadership role with the Association of Black Cardiologists. As a cardiovascular specialist, she is an outspoken advocate in the community for promoting health and increasing awareness of cardiovascular disease and treatment, especially in women. In caring for her patients, Dr. Wyche believes that a holistic approach that addresses both the physical and mental aspects of treatment yields
the best results.
Dawn Christopher, M.D.
Dawn Christopher M.D. trained in Cardiology at University
of Saskatchewan, Canada. Previously, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at University of Medicine of New Jersey after receiving her Medical Degree from Howard University. Dr. Christopher
is board certified in Internal Medicine. Her experience includes a number of years serving as a hospitalist prior
to starting her practice of Cardiology. Dr. Christopher has a special interest in Women’s Cardiology and in treating patients who have experienced Heart Failure.
|Samuel B. Itscoitz, M.D.|
Dr. Itscoitz is a board-certified Cardiologist, with a special interest in hypertension and cholesterol disorders. He studied medicine at George Washington University.
Dr. Itscoitz completed a Cardiology Fellowship at Harvard University after training in Internal Medicine
at what is now Brigham and Women Hospital in Boston.
Dr Itscoitz has been in the private practice of Cardiology in Maryland since 1980.

Carol Boehm has over 20 years’ experience as a
Nurse Practitioner (NP).
Her NP experience includes Cardiology, Primary Care and Emergency Medicine practice settings. Carol completed her MSN at Catholic University
of America, where she also received certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner. Carol is active in the local community, volunteering her medical skills in a number of settings. This includes serving in leadership roles for the
2nd District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, St Mary’s Advanced Life Support Unit, and St Mary’s County Teen Advisory Board. Carol is very proud of her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, you can find Carol out hiking, gardening,
